Women X Film Festival is the UK's leading film festival dedicated exclusively to celebrating women in film. Each September, we bring together filmmakers, industry professionals and audiences for four days of award-winning cinema, industry events and conversations in Darlington, North East England.

As a BAFTA qualifying , BIFA-accredited festival, we champion emerging and established talent from all corners of the UK and from across the world while creating opportunities for emerging talent through our script labs and volunteering programmes.

We welcome collaboration from journalists, broadcasters, bloggers, podcasters and content creators interested in covering the festival, with a complimentary press pass (subject to availability) granting you access to all film screenings and events, as well as interview opportunities with attending talent.
